That’s why Columbia Pacific CCO, part of the CareOregon family, hosts a yearly Substance Use Disorder Summit that brings together clinicians, educators, elected officials, emergency personnel, parents and others whose lives are touched by substance use disorder. Attendees learn ways to support friends and neighbors struggling with addiction. 

Mental health and addictions specialists are vital to solving the state’s mental health and substance crisis. Yet Oregon faces a shortage of workers across the field. Pay is a major issue. So, in 2022, CareOregon invested more than $73 million statewide in our behavioral health network to improve recruitment, retention and job satisfaction.
