CareOregon names Trillium Family Services as its official community partner for the CareOregon Starlight Parade
(PORTLAND, Ore.)—Today, CareOregon announced Trillium Family Services as its official community partner for the 2024 CareOregon Starlight Parade. The parade partnership builds on a longtime connection between the two organizations.
“We’re excited to partner with such a terrific organization,” said Eric C. Hunter, CareOregon CEO. “As a former Board Chair, I know first-hand how Trillium Family Services provides incredible care to our most vulnerable youth, and their work has a powerful impact in our communities. We couldn’t ask for a better partner to help us bring Portland together at Starlight.”
CareOregon and Trillium will share the spotlight at the Starlight Parade on Saturday, June 1. Both organizations will have floats with energy, music and costumes, as this family-friendly event takes over downtown Portland.
“Trillium Family Services and CareOregon have worked together to support children and families for many years,” said Jamie Vandergon, Trillium Family Services CEO. “Both of our organizations understand the power of community and family and we celebrate all the everyday heroes who create safe spaces for children and families to be successful. That’s why we’re so excited to be CareOregon’s official community partner for the 2024 CareOregon Starlight Parade.”
This year’s parade is bound to be especially memorable as CareOregon celebrates its 30th anniversary. Since 1994 CareOregon has been working to make health care work for absolutely everyone by addressing health disparities and prioritizing programs that meet critical social needs such as housing, food and other social determinants of health.
