CareOregon works with multiple community partners to help people get health care, housing, employment, education, healthy food and more. Helping just one person or family can make an entire community stronger. It’s something we call the CareOregon Effect.

2023 CareOregon Annual Report now available
CareOregon is pleased to share our 2023 Annual Report, which covers a year of exciting innovations for our members.
From providing nearly 1.4 million non-emergent medical transportation trips to issuing 43 Oregon Health Plan redetermination grants, we helped improve lives throughout the state last year. At the same time, we had an eye on the future, including starting a multiyear strategy to improve data collection of our dental population by developing a standardized practice tool, and devising pharmacy pick-up lockers that became available in 2024 in response to pharmacy closures.
Our 2023 CareOregon Annual Report also includes features on how we addressed priority areas such as supporting and growing Traditional Health Workers programs, our new approaches to behavioral health and how we helped ease the housing crisis.
Also listed are the community leaders who served on our Board of Directors for CareOregon, Columbia Pacific Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) and Jackson Care Connect.
In addition, the report has our financial summary for 2023, with figures for our three CCOs, as well as details on how we reinvested more than $84 in Oregon communities.
None of our work to advance community health would be possible without our dedicated staff, our community and clinical partners and the leaders who serve on our community advisory councils, Board of Directors and Clinical Advisory Panel.
We thank all of our employees, clinical partners and community leaders for their commitment to the communities we serve.
