At CareOregon, we believe that a strong network of community organizations is essential in providing access to health-related and social services. We’re grateful for our partnerships.

Partnering for a healthier Oregon

At CareOregon, we help thousands access care every day - but we know real change happens when we work together. That’s why we support our community partners in multiple ways: invite our Connect to Care team to your next outreach event, apply for funding to support your organization's work, or reserve one of our community meeting spaces. Learn more about how our Community partners resources and Grants and sponsorships can strengthen your work.

What is a community partner?

Community partners are local organizations working to improve health by addressing social, economic, and environmental factors—like housing, food access, education, and jobs. While they often collaborate with healthcare providers, their focus is often on systemic solutions rather than direct medical care.

By tackling root causes of health disparities, our partners create lasting change through programs, resources, and advocacy that strengthen whole communities.

Why partner with CareOregon?

Together, we can create a healthier Oregon. When you partner with us, you gain:

  • Stronger impact: Leverage our integrated healthcare system to improve outcomes for low-income and underserved communities.
  • More resources: Access funding, care coordination, and capacity-building support.
  • Health equity focus: Address root causes of disparities through collaborative solutions.

By combining our strengths, we can improve community well-being across Oregon.

Partner success stories

Because of CareOregon’s partnership, 47 refugee families —who would have otherwise been without shelter — were temporarily housed in a local hotel for a total of 316 hotel nights. They were also provided with culturally specific food baskets gathered by our team of Community Health Workers.

Pacific Refugee Support Group

After facing displacement, we rallied together with our community and partners to purchase our ideal office location. CareOregon was the key partner that came in at the crucial moment to help us pay off our Dream Center and obtain full ownership!

Angelica Liliana, Development and Finance Director,
African Youth & Community Organization

Because of CareOregon funding, we provided a safe, year-round space for 34 children ages 5 to 14 to become more socially connected, health conscious and adventurous, and to participate in screen-free creative projects.

Sarah Lopez, Executive Director,
We Belong PDX

Funding from CareOregon furthered our goal of providing a robust, culturally responsive curriculum by covering essential services that our public funding does not support. CareOregon’s support was critical to our nutrition programming and ensuring all students have access to healthy, fresh food at no cost to them.
