Find a dentist
To find out who your dental health plan is with, look on your Member ID card. It shows the name of your plan and their phone number. Call them to get help finding a dentist or making an appointment.
You can also see provider directories for your dental plan online:
Your dentist:
- Is the first person to call when you need dental care (unless it’s a life-threatening emergency, like heavy bleeding).
- Can help you see a dental specialist if you need one.
- Knows your teeth and gums best and keeps your records. This helps them give you the best advice, even in an emergency.
Emergency or urgent dental care
If you need care right away, try to call your dentist or dental health plan first—even at night or on weekends. They will help you know what to do.
