Sandy Benjamin, a Claims and Data Entry Supervisor, has been with CareOregon since 2004. Sandy credits the people and culture of CareOregon as one of the key reasons she has stayed. Starting as part of a small team nearly two decades ago, she’s grown alongside the company, watching it evolve into what it is today.
Sandy’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. In 2022, she faced a difficult period when she became ill and had to take nine months off to recover. But despite the physical and emotional toll, she felt supported by her team until she was able to return to work. She states how returning to work felt like coming back to family.
