Updates to Telehealth Guidance

Jul 1, 2026, 21:15 PM

CareOregon has published a revised Telehealth Services Coding Guide online on the Provider Support webpage, under the drop-down menu “Provider coding quick guides”. This revised coding guide applies to CareOregon/Health Share, Jackson Care Connect and Columbia Pacific CCO.

Providers should refer to the Telehealth services coding guide for current requirements, rather than the ‘mode limitation’ column in the fee schedule. As part of this change, the ‘mode limitation’ column will be removed from the fee schedules effective July 6, 2026.

This update will not impact claims processing workflows and will align CareOregon with state and federal standards, ensure consistent, policy-driven application of telehealth requirements across the network, and improve operational clarity.
