Flex trips program closing December 31
Beginning January 1, Ride to Care will no longer offer Flex trips to social health services that are outside of OHP-covered benefits.
This change applies to members using Ride to Care for Flex trips to social health visits. Examples of trips that are no longer covered include trips to grocery stores, housing services, the Social Security office or trips for HRSN supports.
Covered trips are still supported as part of member transportation benefits. This includes trips to see a doctor or counselor, dialysis appointments and substance use treatment services. It also includes trips to the pharmacy.
